Command via Law No. 14 of 2008, issue legal products on Public Information Openness. Indonesian legal products issued and promulgated on April 30, 2008 entered into force two years after promulgation, precisely in 2010. The law consisting of 64 articles essentially provides an obligation to every Public Agency to open access for every applicant for public information to obtain the necessary information.

UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta as one of the Public Bodies under the Ministry of Religious Affairs should guide Law No. 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Openness. UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has an obligation to provide information and prepare facilities so that the information can be easily accessed by stakeholders and people in need.

The Bureau of Academic Administration, Student Affairs and Cooperation (AAKK Bureau) which is one of the administrative elements under UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta which has the task of carrying out academic administrative affairs, student affairs and cooperation is obliged to provide information related to the management of academic administration, student affairs and cooperation within UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

The Web page managed by the Bureau of Academic Administration, Student Affairs and Cooperation (AAKK) is one of the efforts made to make it easier for stakeholders and the public to access the information needed.
